Thee Hannah stands the test of time as one my favorite childhood books and one I love reading aloud to my children as well. Hannah's Quaker family is trying to teach her to be prim and proper and not so obsessed with fancy clothing but it's quite a journey for the lively, loveable little girl! Her family has a secret. When Hannah learns the secret, it helps her to better appreciate her heritage.

This is a short, easy chapter book that is suitable for younger children as well. The recommended age is seven to nine years but, my five-year-old enjoyed it.
