Jackie Hill Perry

This is a brave and beautiful story about a young woman who became a Christian, left the gay lifestyle, and is now married. I liked the way she wove scripture and Bible stories into the narrative. I also loved her writing style--she is a poet. I enjoyed her originality, for example: "Who gave mercy my address?" and "I thought loudly." The book is discrete, genuine, and not narcissistic. It was a pleasure to to listen to the audio version read by the author.
