My children and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this well-written series on audio. The Melendy's are a sweet, wholesome group of siblings who have interesting adventures and good times. They have no mother and their father is often away on business, but Cuffy the housekeeper takes good care of them. 

Be aware there is some language such as darn and gee whiz. Mona goes and gets her hair cut and her nails painted without permission. Mona also aspires to be an actress.
