This is a fictional account of the story of Helen Keller and her teacher, Anne Sullivan. It is a well-written, engaging story that attempts to stay close to known facts. It is told from Anne Sullivan's point of view and includes little known facts about her life. It may not be for some sensitive children--Helen is a very spoiled child who literally fights her teacher. Anne physically subdues her in order to gain control. The two end up with a deep lifelong affection for each other.
