This story seems too dreadful and amazing to even be true. It's a fascinating account of a family fleeing South Vietnam and the terrible hardships they faced. Not only did their journey bring them to a better life in the end, at least for the children, but it brought them to faith in God. 

I read the first half of this story while stuck in a plane for three and a half hours on the tarmac because of various delays. It had the effect of greatly diminishing my discomforts.
