A well-written look into the desperate heart of a troubled girl. The characterization is very good. It's an excellent way for more privileged teens to understand what others may have experienced. I was prepared to be frustrated by a happily-ever-after ending but I underestimated the book; the ending was realistic. This one will make you feel emotional.
