Cathy LaGrow

This gripping true story reads like non-fiction with its incredible attention to detail. The main character, an innocent immigrant girl of seventeen, is shocked by an assault that changes the rest of her life. Her life is hard in many ways but she doesn’t waste time feeling sorry for herself. Healing and closure come to her at the age of ninety-five and the following seven years are the happiest ones of her life. This is adult reading, but it is discrete and there is no profanity.
