If you love well-written nonfiction this one is for you. I was fascinated by the writing skill that kept me turning pages, even though I knew the ending from the beginning. There are elements of mystery: why did he do it, where did he go, how did he die? Alexander Supertramp, as he dubbed himself, left behind a diary and undeveloped film. The author used this information, plus interviews with many people, to compile the story of a tragic ending to a search for an idyllic life.
